Food Pantry

Agape Distribution hosts one of the largest Free Grocery Stores in the state of Ohio. We serve about 80 families daily, each receiving about 70 lbs. of groceries of their choosing at no charge.

Qualifying income is determined by Job & Family services at poverty +25%, see form. Each month over 100,000 lbs. of groceries are distributed.

This is accomplished at an incredible 2009 cost of $3.36 per person! One dollar donated to the food pantry will yield an incredible $48.00 in groceries. Donations for the Food Pantry may be made to Agape Distribution and memoed, "Food Pantry".

Children in Need

June and September are the times of greatest need! In the summer months children are home from school and no longer receive school breakfasts and lunches. In September, the cost of school supplies for children too often creates a difficult choice between these supplies and food. This plus the softening economy is driving more people than ever to food pantry. Your help during these times is greatly appreciated.

Preserving Self Esteem

Asking for help is humbling! Once registered at Agape a Speedy Shopper Card is issued securing the free membership. Families check in, take a shopping cart selecting the items they like. Quantities are limited but a nutritionally balanced diet is freely available.
